Meet Michelle!! Our Family and Child Development Coach!!
She is currently completing her Masters and will be a Provisional Psychologist this year!
Michelle moved from Nova Scotia to the sunny city of Medicine Hat. She graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology and is currently taking her Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.
Her main areas of focus include building self-esteem, emotional regulation, social skills, and sibling programs.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her family, travelling, walking her dog, and watching movies.
Megan Kelly
Meet Megan! Our newest Child/Family Development Coach.
Megan recently moved back to Canada after ten years in Australia. During her time in Australia, she had the opportunity to gain valuable experience as a Disability Support Worker, Mental Health Worker, Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Therapist, and Student Well-being Officer.
Megan is passionate about empowering children and families to support growth in day-to-day activities and enhancing social, communication and life skills.
Melissa Lyons
Meet Melissa! Our Creative Minds Child Development Coach. She works with our kiddos needing extra coaching in the home and/or the community. Her main areas of development are social skills, self-help/ independence skills and emotional regulation.
She started working as a private respite aide after deciding that she needed a new path in life. She grew up surrounded by kids of all abilities and ages, and has always enjoyed teaching and learning with children! She loves seeing the different personalities and creative abilities all children have!! Working with Creative Minds has taught her so much! She feels she continues to learn everyday!
When she’s not working, she enjoys the outdoors, whether it's fishing, biking, kayaking, or a campfire! As long as it's warm out! During the winter months you can find her curled up with a cup of tea, enjoying a movie!
